Jelly Ang Ku Kueh

 

Just came back from work, feel so tired and lazy. but my mom told me that at the fridge have a special food, jelly ang ku kueh… It was so cute, just like the usual ang ku kueh but this was made from jelly.

 

DSC04411 Each box there will be each colour of 2 with a total of 12pcs.DSC04413 Beige waste have a filling of peanut. The peanuts still remain with the crunchiness and it have a very nice aroma that can attracted for another.DSC04417 Green was having sweet corn as the filling. Obviously this was the can corn hence i wont expecting the taste will be any special.DSC04418 Purple was from santan which is coconut milk. nothing much special also as just only have a strong flavour.DSC04419 White is coconut meat. Same as the coconut milk. i personally perfer this as does not have that much of santan taste and much sweeter as the coconut meat was cook with gula melaka at the earlier stage.DSC04420 Blue-was green bean paste. This will be suitable to those that does not like to eat sweet stuff. it has a well balance of taste and texture that normally bean paste will make people feel of stickiness.DSC04421 DSC04422

obviously red represent red bean just like the normal ang ku kueh.

dessert at SnowFlake- Kuchai Lama

 

My friend just came back from Australia, hence we have a little gathering with him. Someone just told me that another snowflake shop was open after SS15(PJ) as well as at Pavillion (KL).

The shop was on Taiwan feel. They prepare the ice just like i used to have at Taiwan. but what i feel is Taiwan is better and cheaper as compared to this shop. But is very subjectivity depending of people. I don’t really like the taste but my darling likes it… i don’t know why…

This shop is self service hence don’t expect that someone will come and take your orders…

TAO Cuisine in Sunway Giza

 

Today going out with my college friends to Sunway Giza for the ala carte buffet. That place is considered as a newly developed area behind Mutiara Damansara. The choice of the buffet is quite limited as compared to Jogoya as well as Tenji. The taste wise and staff services is satisfied. They re friendly and willing to help us for our orders.

They have readied drinks of choice of Green Tea,Orange juice and also Ice Lemon Tea. They will help us in refilling, not like the other 2 buffet that we have to refill our drinks ourselves.

Dessert time~

 

such a long time that i dint update my blog. my dear dint really bring me to any nice place this recently. most (or rather all) of my friends are so busy now a day..work…study…

Exam is just around the corner…Dec is our (ACCA students) battleground…fight till the last drop of brain juice squeeze out to the answer paper.

Today i ask my dear bring me to buy some ‘fats’ to fill my joys…at first he quite resist to bring me there…ya i know..is far…but in the end..Haha~i succeed to persuade him to bring me there

bought 5 but only ate 1…the cream was very delicious…i cant feel the creamy feel that usually had with the normal cake house that they usually make the cream with butter and sugar…this cream they made it from whipped cream and egg..

Macademia cake(RM13                         Royal Almond (RM13)

Please don't this cake is the normal 1kg cake with this price..i think this cake only like 250g…its just only  a small cake that 2 people or 1 people can finish it in no time.

i love this cake as well as Royal Almond. They bake their cakes daily so its not always have the same type of cakes in each visit. but this time i have both of my favorite cakes.

This time my photos quality is not that good…using my new phone…my little blackberry ^^…Next time shall bring my fully charge camera..

another day of dinner

 

 

it really been a long time(again) that i did not update my blog…

as a student, i cant expect to go out and eat everyday…does not have sufficient ‘bullets’ to do so…

today i when Genting with few of my friends and of cause Loong went with me too.The first move when my foot stepped on the land of entertaiment,i straight away rush into casino and have some testing of my luck…

Conclusion, after playing for fews hours…just managed to breakeven…

 

At the way back to KL, we decided to have our dinner nearby..somewhere around zoo negara..i don’t really know how to guide the way to that place but it is easy to find..DSC04297

These are their signature dishes..it is the best that advance booking being made..for suggestion is that should be going during weekdays as not really much people at there..booking might not required too

BEGGER CHICKEN (RM45). this chicken was nicely cooked at they cook it using mud to seal it in and but it into a big charcoal pot to sort of stew it. Quite a lot of ingredient they stuff into the chicken hence it make the juice came out to be black and have a strong herbal aroma. the meat was so tender and moist especially the breast.It wasn’t like the norm of breast that we usually faced…such as chewy,..dry…etc

COUNTARY FISH (RM28). One of my friend, he does not really like to eat chicken as he was afraid of fish bones. This fish do specially meant for him. This fish does not have any bone in it.the bone and meat was removed from the skin and mixed up with some other marinate ingredients and form into fish paste. It will then stuff back into the fish and sent to deep fried.frankly speaking,the fish was not really very nice as cant really taste natural fish taste that should have but we appreciated the effort used to debone the fish and stuff back the meat in.

FRIED TONG FUN(glass noodle) (RM8) .The portion for this noodle was relatively small as compared to the usual KL portion that i had.it just simple and the taste was similar to the usual fried noodle that can get it almost anywhere in Malaysia..Malaysia was named as Skies Of Foods right…so it does not have to really come all the was for this noodle

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY TO ME

 

Hmm…time do really fly…still remember that my last year birthday celebration was on Luna Bar,KL will my few of friends…

I do not have lots of friends so i don really hope to have what kind of huge and luxury celebration

Richmond brought me to a very nice Japanese restaurant in Jalan Klang Lama, ISHIN JAPANESE DINING.

They have a very nice sushi/sashimi bar customers to have their fresh fishes to be serve.

Since that just only have 2 person to have this dinner, hence we cant order much food.DSC04205

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

every table will be served with this starter.the prawn head was crispy and a bit salty.just like cracker and have some thousand island sauce on it

  these escargot was stewed with udon sauce until it cooked.This not really not my day as this was cook until a bit to hard as i feel it was a bit chewy.maybe my next visit will have some improvement.

Tenpayaki seafood set.Combination of scallops, prawns, salmon served with salad and yam rice. such a combo was fantastic that it was so worth it that  no all food served was truely fresh and so really no compliant.

Ishin house bento(RM38).this bento have the combination that i could not imagine at the first time.

3types of sashimi fish.the salmon was so fresh and it just look like butter that will melt in my mouth.tuna was not that good i feel as the fish texture was not in a very ‘feel’.(personal feeling).

stewed radish with fish flakes. this was my favorite.so delicious that i wanted to have it again.the radish is well stewed that i could not feel that this is radish or maybe like meat that does not have meat texture.

Tempura soft shell crab. every time having tempura set,it must be fried prawn or vegetable.but this is crab!!! sweet is the only word that i can describe.the meat food is so fresh and well fried.i could not feel the oily taste in the crab.

i3-taste chawa mushi.(RM12.90) These steamed eggs was so nice and full of flavor.they have 3 types of taste (uni,caviar and  crab eggs).The chef steam the egg and it was cooked just in time so the softness still remain.

Today went out with my dear and his family to Gantong Jaya ( middle hill of Genting Highland) for dinner…

ya…ridiculous… dinner need to go that far…but its fun and nice….
